“He never gives short”

“I saw Baba as Lord Ram”
In Part One of this rare audio of Mani and Pukar, Mani encourages Pukar to share his phenomenal story of finding Meher Baba. Pukar was an agnostic newspaper editor from Hamirpur who was hell bent on exposing Meher Baba as a false guru. Involved in the freedom struggle of India, Pukar’s disillusion with the world had to be met with a serious proof of Godhood. He narrates his incredible journey of acceptance and change, and the story of Baba’s glory on the lips of the people of Hamirpur.

“He is your Jesus”
Filis Frederick describes how she came to Baba: from first seeing Him as Jesus in a vision, to developing a deep connection with three of His Western women Mandali, to catching a glimpse of Him at the train station in New York, to finally spending a week with Him on Center in 1952. She gives an intimate description of that heavenly week, when through both playful, informal times and deep truths He brought home the importance of love for God.

Mehera: Her Life with Baba Part 3
In the final part of this audio series, Mehera shares the story of the rings that Upasani Maharaj and Baba gave her. Then, she continues to tell Indian tales of Tulsidas and Saint Mira. These exemplary stories display the power of divine love and sacrifice in creating miracles and bringing a seeker closer to God. Mehera J. Irani: Her Life with Meher Baba Part #2
While Part One focuses on her first meeting with Baba in Sakori, Part Two continues into her coming to be with Baba as one of the early residents of His ashram in Meherabad. Here, she shares Baba’s orders to them to focus on God’s name, working endlessly for Him, intimate contact with Upasani Maharaj and unknowingly being prepared by Baba for her upcoming destiny to be His female counterpart.

“You loved Baba and He did the work”
In this frank talk, Donald Mahler shares his journey with Meher Baba. First learning about Baba through Margaret Craske while pursuing a career as a ballet dancer in the 1950’s, Donald met Baba twice at the Meher Center, and again at the East-West Gathering in 1962. But despite believing in Baba and trying to follow His orders, it was only after decades of hard-won lessons that Donald could feel the intimacy and love that were always there.

“Service comes above all”
In the final part of this audio by Najoo Kotwal, Najoo continues to share the love, compassion and care that Baba showed towards each person in her family while individually catering to their worldly and spiritual needs. At the end, she answers some questions from pilgrims about the untimely and heart-wrenching death of her brother and sister-in-law in a car accident and how the family accepted the incident as Beloved Baba’s will. This event changed the course of all their lives including Najoo’s who took on the role of care-giver and mother to her nephew who was the sole survivor of the car accident.

“Those who know the emperor do not bow to the guards”
In part two of this audio by Najoo Kotwal, Najoo shares how her father’s desperation for God and disillusionment with the world lead him to submit his life to Baba. Savak Kotwal showed up at Meher Baba’s ashram along with his family after giving up all his worldly possessions, but Meher Baba asked for more, until not one material object belonged to them. Happily the family surrendered and Baba beamed in satisfaction while making a powerful and eternal promise to Savak: to ‘give him the ocean.’
