The Avatar and His Infinite Sense of Humor

If there is one human trait that most distinguishes this Avatar from other advents, surely it is Meher Baba’s boundless sense of humor. It is no exaggeration to say that Baba’s humor was ever-present: relating funny stories, playfully teasing, playing practical jokes, and, in gatherings with His lovers, calling for jokes or an anecdote to make Him laugh. Creation, Baba says, is God’s Leela, the divine play that is sustained by God’s humor. Charles will share favorite examples of Baba’s humor and invite everyone to laugh with Baba.
